2. When it was decided to buy a new machine for our sizing unit, we had a series of discussion on which would be a good UPS system to buy. We surveyed the market and consulted many vendors. Ours is a sizing unit that works 24 hours round the clock. As such we primarily needed a company that would provide us 24 X 7 services so that if anything goes wrong it would get attended immediately. We preferred personal attention of the manufacturer rather than reporting problem to faceless operator, at a call centre on toll free number and keep waiting/begging for the services.

After a great deal of thought and research, we settled for a RENUTRON UPS system for our sizing unit. It is 2 ½ years since we purchased a 40 .KVA ONLINE UPS from RENUTRON. Till now we have installed 3 UPS from Renutron. (40 KVA X 2 and 60 KVA X 1)

4. Before installing a UPS system for my KARL MAYER Sizing unit, our technical Consultant conducted a technical study for us. He personally visited and verified the quality assurance processes followed by Renutron on shop floor.

As the machine is always ONLINE we were concerned about its electricity consumption. 8. When you think of a foundry, you think of heat and conductive fine dust. When we set up a dye-making machine in our unit, we had to consider installing a UPS system for it as we were losing valuable man hours in production on account of power cuts. After we installed a 100 KVA UPS from RENUTRON, there has been no loss in productivity during power outages. Even in the dusty environment and in high temperatures, the UPS works well. Our investment in Renutron’s UPS system has turned to ‘nil’ within a year’s time.

We have a High Pressure Moulding Line of Tokyu Japan Having capacity 100 Mould / Hour; this is the first plant of Tokyu in India. We have crossed production capacity of 1350 M.T. / Month.

Couple of years ago we used to have an average 15-20 stoppages of 2-3 shifts duration due to power cuts and voltage fluctuations.

This caused in huge losses in production, man hours & material too, as we had to keep the furnace feeding continuously. The result was delayed deliveries and customer dissatisfy.

To overcome these problems we installed a 100 KVA UPS from RENUTRON. Our wastage got reduced, rework and delayed deliveries due to power problems has stopped.
